Municipal specificity
Programs are designed around the pressures and responsibilities of local government.
ABOUT JCIG
Johnson Civic Impact Group exists to help municipalities strengthen the people closest to daily execution: supervisors, crew leads, department leaders, and the next bench.
LEADERSHIP · CULTURE · PERFORMANCEJOHNSON CIVIC IMPACT GROUPOUR MISSION
Municipalities cannot afford leadership training that ends when the session closes.
JCIG builds applied experiences around real conversations, real handoffs, real decisions, and real team development. The standard is not whether a participant enjoyed the class. The standard is whether the work gets better.
FOUNDER & LEAD FACILITATOR
Public servant. Executive leader. Entrepreneur. Coach. Community builder.
Xavier Johnson is the founder of Johnson Civic Impact Group and a McDonough City Council member. His leadership experience spans higher education, business operations, ministry, public service, community development, and more than two decades of coaching and mentoring.
He has served as a college president and regional vice president with responsibility across ten institutions. His academic background includes an Executive MBA, a Master of Divinity, doctoral study in industrial and organizational psychology, and John Maxwell leadership certification.
Across each arena, one conviction has remained steady: titles do not create leaders. Responsibility, consistency, courage, and the ability to develop other people do.
HOW JCIG WORKS
Programs are designed around the pressures and responsibilities of local government.
Every leadership principle moves into a visible workplace assignment.
Strong standards and genuine respect belong in the same conversation.
Leadership succeeds when capability remains after the leader leaves.
